Kamala Harris Shares Vision to Help Iowa Families

September 11, 2024

DES MOINES – Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart released the following statement at the conclusion of Sep 11th’s presidential debate:

“On Sep 11th, Kamala Harris made it crystal clear that she will create a positive path forward for every Iowan by lowering taxes, cutting the cost of groceries, expanding access to affordable housing and childcare, and creating more jobs.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump showed how unfit he is to be President. His weird, unhinged, and inaccurate answers to debate questions proved that he doesn’t understand the most important issues Americans are facing like women’s rights, inflation, how the American justice system works, or the number of jobs clean energy initiatives are creating.

We can’t afford another four years of a Trump presidency or his backward, damaging policies.”
