Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces Fulbright Award Recipients

(Washington D.C.) – Today, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson released the following statement recognizing Mississippi’s 2nd District Fulbright award recipient:

“It is with great pride that I recognize the 2022 Fulbright recipients from Mississippi’s 2nd Congressional District. For more than 70 years, the Fulbright Program has been one of the most educational exchange programs in the world. Selected through a merit-based competition, these Fulbrighters represent the excellence and diversity of the United States. I believe the knowledge these students receive abroad will soon benefit their communities, institutions, and Mississippi. Congratulations to the 2022 Fulbright Award recipients.”
