Sears Still Owes Virginians Answers on Her Vote Against the Right to Contraception Act

VIRGINIA – After headlining an anti-choice rally and refusing to answer questions last week, Winsome Earle-Sears still hasn’t answered why she wants to leave the door open to extreme restrictions on access to birth control and emergency contraception.
“Winsome Earle-Sears’ tie-breaking no vote makes clear that she won’t protect Virginians’ fundamental freedoms. Virginians have questions about why Sears couldn’t resist voting no, and Sears must answer for her record instead of hiding,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
