Congressman Cohen Announces Aging Grant to UTHSC

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a grant of $231,000 to study extracellular vesicles from the National Institute on Aging.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“As the American population grows older, understanding the aging process is critical to addressing future medical needs. I commend UTHSC for undertaking this important research.”
