Congressman Cohen Announces $750,000 Grant to St. Jude

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $754,116 grant from the National Cancer Institute to study the cerebellar origins of medulloblastoma subgroups.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“The study of brain cancer in children by our premier children’s research hospital is sure to lead to breakthroughs and ultimately to better patient outcomes. I commend St. Jude for its work in on brain tumors and am pleased to see it supported by the National Institutes of Health.”
