Winsome Won't Comment: Sears Continues to Dodge Media After Defending Trump’s Attacks on Virginia Jobs

March 12, 2025

VIRGINIA – As Donald Trump’s attacks on Virginia jobs continue, Winsome Earle-Sears’ campaign has continued to be unresponsive, declining to comment on breaking stories affecting Virginia’s economy and outright ignoring requests. Sears has repeatedly defended Trump’s attacks on Virginia workers, saying that Virginians facing layoffs will “be all right.”

Sears is also in the midst of a messy GOP primary with two recent challengers – Dave LaRock and Amanda Chase – entering the race because of Sears’ “defects as a candidate” and “pretty serious issues with her campaign.”
