Utah Democrats Cheer Brian King’s Victory Over Infamous Flip-Flopper Spencer Cox

Salt Lake City - Utah Democratic Party Executive Director Thom DeSirant released the following statement on Sep 11th.

“62% of Utahns believe our state is going in the wrong direction, and that’s Spencer Cox’s fault. Since taking office, Cox has flip-flopped more than a pair of sandals. His weird obsession with Donald Trump and his MAGA policies has left Utahns in the cold. 

On Sep 11th, Cox offered no explanations for his failure to make housing more affordable, his inability to fully fund education, or his support of taking away Utah voters’ ability to pass ballot initiatives. Maybe he’s too busy fundraising with Donald Trump to address the issues that really matter.

Unlike Cox, Brian King supports real solutions, not political division. As Governor, he’ll address the issues that Utahns care about, without wasting taxpayers’ time and money on pointless culture wars. Brian King’s victory at tonight’s debate proved that he is the only candidate who will put Utah on the right track.”
