Three Questions GOP Candidates Must Answer One Month Before Early Voting Starts

September 19, 2024

With early voting one month away, Nevada Republicans running for public office have failed to provide clear answers on key issues that will shape our state’s future. As voters prepare to cast their ballots, here are three crucial questions GOP candidates must address:

Where do you stand on Question 6?

  • This ballot initiative would enshrine the right to abortion into Nevada’s state constitution, ensuring reproductive freedoms are protected for future generations. The vast majority of GOP candidates have been silent about where they stand on this crucial issue despite a majority of Nevadans supporting access to reproductive care.

Will you commit to accepting the results of the 2024 election?

  • After years of baseless voter fraud claims, frivolous lawsuits, and unfounded conspiracy theories, voters deserve to know whether GOP candidates will respect the will of the people and commit to honoring the outcome of this election, no matter the result.

Do you support the Trump-Vance Project 2025 agenda to eliminate the Department of Education which would completely eliminate the Community Eligibility Provision in the federal school food program that benefits hundreds of Nevada public schools?

  • Project 2025’s radical proposal to dismantle the Department of Education would have a devastating impact on Nevada’s schools, teachers, and students. GOP candidates need to make clear if they stand with education or with special interests pushing this dangerous agenda.
