Statement: Michigan Dems Chair Marks Polls Closing in Historic Election

LANSING — As polls close in most of Michigan and voters await final results, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement:

“With polls closing and ballots being counted, I am so proud of Michigan Dems’ hard work to turn out voters and get Democrats elected up and down the ballot. We’ve been working year-round, and we take no days off from showing up for our neighbors. Michigan Dems will continue to engage with our communities and fight for Michiganders’ rights and families every day.”
