State Government Offices in Denver Will Close at Noon Today

From: Colorado Governor Jared Polis
November 8, 2024

DENVER - Colorado state government offices in Denver and surrounding suburban counties will close at noon Friday, Nov. 8, due to expected extreme weather conditions.

State facilities essential to public health and safety will maintain regular operating schedules and essential personnel must report to work at their normal scheduled time.

Additionally, we know a lot of skiers are excited about the new snow from this storm, but the mountain corridor will be extremely treacherous through tomorrow. Please use common sense and wait until the weather clears up this weekend to safely head to the slopes. Weather and driving conditions should improve by midday Saturday.

The Colorado Judicial Branch posts its own information regarding closures and delays related to Colorado’s courthouses and probation offices. Visit www.courts.state.co.us for current information related to courts and probation. The Colorado General Assembly posts daily schedules at www.leg.colorado.gov
