NV Dems Latino Caucus Statement on Hispanic Heritage Month

The Nevada State Democratic Party Latino Caucus Chair Henry Rosas Ibarra released the following statement on the start of Hispanic Heritage Month:

“Hispanic Heritage Month is a celebration of the rich history, traditions, cultures, achievements, and contributions of our Latino communities. Nevada is a majority-minority state, the third most diverse state in the nation and the most diverse battleground state – and Nevada’s Latino community makes up nearly one-third of the state’s population. We have shaped the fabric of Nevada and our country and will continue to make vital contributions as we chart the course for our shared future. Nevada Democrats recognize the importance of uplifting the diversity of our party and celebrate the significance of our Latino communities.”
