Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb’s Statement on the Vice Presidential Debate

LINCOLN, NE – Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb released the following statement regarding Oct 2nd’s Vice Presidential Debate:

“Governor Walz proved he is a steady hand offering real solutions from building more clean American energy, ensuring women have access to full reproductive care, and forging a new way forward on everything from housing to child care. JD Vance, on the other hand, proved he would join Trump in cutting Social Security and Medicare and end the Affordable Care Act. A Trump-Vance administration would spell disaster for our families’ budgets with his plans to enact a 20% sales tax with crazy tariffs, give massive tax cuts for billionaires, and implement Project 2025, giving Trump unprecedented and unchecked power. Nebraska voters are not going back and are ready to deliver the blue dot to send Tim Walz and Kamala Harris to the White House.”
