Frankfort, KY -- On Dec 19th, the Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) announced additional stops on its Rural Listening Tour, a state-wide campaign launched in July 2024 to engage rural voters in every corner of the Commonwealth.
“We’ve been having conversations all across the state about what we need to do more of in supporting Kentucky’s rural communities and building a stronger party from the ground up,” said Colmon Elridge, Kentucky Democratic Party Chair. “These discussions have provided helpful and necessary feedback for all of us at the KDP. Our team is looking forward to getting back on the road.”
Kentucky Democratic Party leadership will join local Democratic leaders and candidates at each stop of the Rural Listening Tour. The second part of the Rural Listening Tour will include visits in the following counties:
- Cumberland County
- Gallatin County
- Graves County
- Johnson County
- Adair County
- Caldwell County
The first part of the Rural Listening Tour included stops in the following counties: Magoffin, Letcher, Henderson, Nicholas, and Jessamine. Additional information and sign-up forms for each Rural Listening Tour stop will be available on the Kentucky Democratic Party website.
