It’s been a tough few weeks for MAGA extremist Sam Brown – whose extreme anti-abortion record, ties to the radical right-wing Project 2025 and efforts to conceal his billionaire NFL family bankrolling his campaign are continuing to haunt his flailing political career.
Here’s the latest on how Sam Brown continues to prove that he’s too MAGA for Nevada:
On his anti-abortion record:
- Brown was caught on tape privately telling supporters he would vote against enshrining reproductive freedom in the Nevada Constitution, despite refusing to publicly answer questions on the measure for months.
- Brown has repeatedly changed his abortion messaging on his campaign website since his campaign launch – a reflection of his evasive position on reproductive freedom.
On his ties to Project 2025:
- Brown was exposed for his campaign being bankrolled by the writers behind Project 2025, a radical right-wing plan to enact extreme policies, including banning abortion medication like Mifepristone, eliminating the Department of Education and restarting Yucca Mountain as a nuclear waste repository.
- A leader of a group behind Project 2025 is also spending millions of dollars to try and elect Brown, and Brown “doesn’t distance himself” from his ties to Project 2025.
