ICYMI: Fmr. Congresswoman Giffords, Sen. Kelly Join Michigan Dems for Town Hall in James' District

As John James continues to run away from accountability and his constituents, Michigan Dems are listening to working families on how Republicans’ agenda impacts them

LANSING - In case you missed it, Michigan Democrats are keeping the pressure on absentee Republican Congressman John James with another town hall, hearing from the very constituents that he has abandoned. With Fmr. Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband, US Sen. Mark Kelly, Michigan Dems were calling out Republicans for pushing an agenda that is failing working families at every turn. 

With so many Michiganders in person and online last Friday night, our communities were once again showing these extremist Republicans exactly how devastating their agenda has been and will be for their families. Over and over again, middle-class families have tried to get Republicans like John James to stand up and do the right thing - and every time, Republicans have chosen Trump over their own communities. 

Instead of serving his constituents, John James is too busy trying to trick Michiganders across the state into thinking that he would actually help them as governor, but they know better. Michigan Republicans will see what happens when they betray their voters next November.
