Ellyn Hefner Re-Elected To House District 87

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — The Oklahoma Democratic Party celebrates the re-election of Rep. Ellyn Hefner to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 87. Hefner’s continued service will build upon her strong advocacy for families, disability rights, and practical solutions that bridge party lines.

“Ellyn has proven to be a tireless advocate for her community and a voice for those often overlooked,” said Alicia Andrews, Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party. “Her re-election is a victory for all who value dedication, empathy, and effective leadership.”

During her tenure, Rep. Hefner has been a champion for policies that uplift vulnerable communities, securing key advancements such as caregiver wage increases and educational opportunities for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
