6 Months of Matt Hall's So-Called Leadership

LANSING - As Matt Hall continues to fail to negotiate with Democrats, it’s no wonder that in six months under MAGA Matt Hall’s so-called leadership, Michiganders have spent every day being cast aside so House Republicans can bend to Trump’s every whim and fancy. MAGA Matt has also led a historically ineffectual House, with just six bills going to Governor Whitmer’s desk - and, somehow, still no budget bill on the horizon. 

“Matt Hall has no problem flying to DC to bow to Trump’s ego and attempt becoming a Z-list celebrity, but when it comes to actually doing his job, he can’t manage to work,” said Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Curtis Hertel. “Michiganders are paying his salary, and the salaries of his House Republican lackeys, but they continue to play political games to waste time and money. 

“Time and time again, Matt Hall has pulled stunt after political stunt, hoping that Michiganders don’t notice that he isn’t delivering a damn thing - but it’s not working. They know that Michigan Democrats are the only ones trying to help them, and voters will show him what they think of his inability to lead next November.”
