Wisconsin Democrats on Elon Deleting Evidence of His Crime

March 28, 2025

MADISON, Wis. — In response to Elon Musk appearing to delete his post announcing illegal $1 million bribes to Wisconsin voters, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler issued the following statement:

“Let’s be very clear: Elon Musk committed a crime the moment he offered million-dollar checks ‘in appreciation for’ voting, and deleting evidence of that crime changes nothing. Elon Musk is accountable for his illegal vote-buying scheme, and Brad Schimel and Wisconsin Republicans must answer for Musk’s violation of Wisconsin law in an attempt to buy Schimel a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Under Wisconsin law, merely the offer of something of value - in this case, the chance to receive one million dollars - is plainly illegal. Brad Schimel’s silence on Elon Musk’s crime, and now Musk’s attempted cover-up of his crime, is deafening.”
