Augusta, Maine - In case you missed it, new reporting is highlighting how Susan Collins’ last minute withdrawal of her own amendment helped push Republicans’ rescissions package across the finish line. Of note, Collins’ cave to party leadership came shortly after reporting detailed Donald Trump threatened a primary and was interested in considering alternative candidates.
