Vermont Leaders Stand Against ICE Overreach, Call for Mohsen Mahdawi’s Release and Stronger Immigrant Protections

Montpelier, VT - On Tuesday, Vermont leaders will convene a press conference to condemn the unjust detention of Mohsen Mahdawi, call for his immediate release, and denounce ICE’s unlawful actions by reaffirming their commitment to due process. Vermont Senators will spotlight ongoing legislative efforts to safeguard the rights of migrants and their families, and outline actionable steps to support immigrant communities across the state.
