Salt Lake City - The Utah Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign, Organize Utah, announced today that it has reached out to over a quarter million voters since May 1, 2024, with over 60,000 conversations. From phone banking to texting to door knocking, Organize Utah is working to persuade undecided voters and get Democratic voters out to the polls. Thanks to the support of a large coalition of partners, the Utah Democratic Party is leading the charge to elect Democrats in highly competitive districts.
The Utah Democratic Party and Organize Utah have provided free resources to Democratic candidates, including campaign coaching, strategy consultation, data administration, logo design, website design, flier design, and access to a predictive dialer - making it far easier for campaigns to reach large numbers of voters over the phone. These investments have saved Democratic campaigns thousands of dollars, ensuring that they can focus on talking to voters about the issues that matter most to them.
“The Utah Democratic Party is doing more to elect state and local Democrats than it ever has before,” Coordinated Director Elliot Kauffman said. “Already, we’ve reached out to over twice as many voters than the Utah Democratic Party did in 2020 or 2022. For too long, Republican politicians have taken our state for granted, as they gave themselves legislative districts that made it easy for them to stay in power. Despite GOP gerrymandering, we are working harder than ever before to ensure Utahns’ voices are heard, and that Democrats get elected to state and local office.”
