Texas Democratic Party Statement Highlighting One Month Until Election Day

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa issued the following statement:

“On Oct 5th, marks 30 days until voters have the chance to choose freedom over division — 30 days to carve a new way forward for our state, where all Texans can succeed, not just the privileged few. Texas Democrats are committed to electing leaders who will restore our rights and freedoms, not strip them away. It’s clear Texans are tired of the chaos and division perpetuated by Texas Republicans and politicians like Ted Cruz, who only care about themselves.
