Statement from Minnesota DFL Chair Ken Martin on Kamala Harris’s Overwhelming Victory in Tonight’s Debate

September 10, 2024

ST PAUL – On Sep 10th, Minnesota DFL Chair Ken Martin released the following statement regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’s overwhelming victory in Sep 10th’s debate:

DFL Chair Ken Martin: “Kamala Harris’s overwhelming victory on Sep 10th, set up a clear choice for Minnesotans in this election. A convicted felon who is running to gain power for himself versus a prosecutor who has fought her whole career to improve people’s lives. A choice between Project 2025 and attacks on abortion rights versus new leadership to unite our country and address the real challenges facing Americans. The DFL will show up for Vice President Harris the way she showed up for all of us on Sep 10th, while the Minnesota GOP will have to defend an unpopular nominee who just reminded Minnesotans why they voted against him twice – and given his horrible performance on Sep 10th, why they will likely do so again.”
