Statement: Chair Barnes Welcomes Gov. Walz to Detroit on Eve of Election Day

LANSING — On Nov 4th, Governor Walz is visiting Detroit for his final trip to Michigan before polls close to remind voters to cast their ballots if they haven’t voted yet. Along with musician Jon Bon Jovi, Walz will energize Michiganders and remind them about the importance of this election. 

“At tonight’s concert, Governor Walz will appeal to voters one last time as he reminds them of what’s at stake tomorrow,” said Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes. “Walz and Harris know that the road to the White House runs through Michigan, and they are firing up Michiganders once again tonight to turn out across the state.

“So much is on the line this election, and I know that Michiganders will send Kamala Harris to the White House to protect our rights, our future, and our democracy.”
