Statement: Chair Barnes Celebrates VP Harris’s Final Michigan Rally

November 3, 2024

LANSING — On Nov 3rd, after making stops in Detroit and Pontiac, Kamala Harris held her final Michigan rally at Michigan State University. After the rally, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement:

“On Nov 3rd night, Kamala Harris gave her closing statement to Michiganders about who she is and what she stands for — Kamala Harris is fighting for a new way forward for all Americans. A Kamala Harris presidency will be focused on lowering costs — health care, housing, groceries, and more, while a Donald Trump presidency will be focused on enriching himself.

“Michiganders are fired up, already turning out for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot. Our volunteers across the state are knocking hundreds of thousands of doors, as Michiganders continue to make history in the most consequential election of our lifetime.”
