On National Voter Registration Day, South Carolina Democrats Call on All Voters to Make Their Voices Heard

September 17, 2024

On National Voter Registration Day, Jay Parmley, Executive Director of the South Carolina Democratic Party released the following statement:

“On National Voter Registration Day, South Carolina Democrats remember the generations that fought to secure everyone’s right to vote and recognize the importance of protecting and empowering voters’ access to the ballot box. On Sep 17th, I encourage all eligible South Carolinians to check their voter registration status at IWillVote.com or at scvotes.org,  and make a plan to cast their ballot. Our country has only moved forward because people chose to make their voices heard and fight for the change they wanted to see, and now, we have the opportunity to elect Vice President Harris and Governor Walz, who will finally turn the page on Donald Trump and his Project 2025 agenda. South Carolina Democrats are doing the work to energize voters across the state, and now, we must all do our part to turn out and elect Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, the only candidates in this race committed to fighting for our families and protecting our rights.”

Voting is easy, safe, and effective. South Carolinians can find out how to register to vote and access important, state-specific voting information on IWillVote.com and VoyAVotar.com for voting information in Spanish.
