NV Dems Chair Statement on 4th Congressional District Election Results

Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement on Nevada’s 4th Congressional District general election results:

“Congressman Steven Horsford won his re-election and will once again humbly serve Nevada’s 4th Congressional District. Congressman Horsford is a native son of Nevada. He grew up in Las Vegas, raised by a single immigrant mother who worked multiple jobs to support him and his siblings. With her example of persistence, Congressman Horsford became the first in his family to attend college, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno.

His career has always put Nevadans first. In the Nevada Senate, he passed legislation to make housing more affordable and gave Nevada families a tax cut, delivering for all of our working families. He secured funding for Nevada’s schools and invested in job-training programs to create more opportunities for residents in the Silver State. In Congress, those priorities have remained the same and Congressman Horsford will continue to deliver on the issues that matter most to the hardworking families of Nevada’s 4th Congressional District.”
