New Website: Governor's Office Highlights Shapiro Administration's Track Record of Delivering Results in Governor Shapiro's First Two Years in Office

As Governor Shapiro marks two years of getting stuff done in the Governor’s office this month - a new website and interactive midterm report keep Pennsylvanians updated and highlight the results the Shapiro Administration has delivered across the Commonwealth. 

Governor Shapiro has delivered real results in his first two years in office - and the Governor and his entire Administration are laser focused on continuing to work hard and get stuff done for all Pennsylvanians.

HARRISBURG, PA – As Governor Josh Shapiro marks the two-year milestone of his first term as Pennsylvania’s 48th Governor this month, the Governor’s Office is highlighting Governor Shapiro’s G-S-D approach to governing - addressing the everyday challenges Pennsylvanians face and delivering real, tangible solutions - through a new website, an interactive midterm report, and other multimedia content that show Pennsylvanians all that the Shapiro Administration has accomplished so far.

Beginning with his visit to the Farm Show today and running through the two-year anniversary of his inauguration on January 17th, Governor Shapiro will embark on a statewide Getting Stuff Done tour to share the progress his Administration has made on issues like agriculture, economic development, public safety, and education with Pennsylvanians across the Commonwealth.

From day one, Governor Shapiro and his Administration have been focused on good schools for our kids, safe communities, creating economic opportunity, and advancing the rights and freedoms of all Pennsylvanians. In his first two years in office, the Governor has worked to secure historic levels of funding for K-12 education and universal free breakfast for every student; invested in law enforcement, including the hiring of nearly 1,500 Pennsylvania State Police troopers and local police officers; created a bold economic development strategy and funded it with over $500 million to help companies grow in the Commonwealth; and much more.

Governor Shapiro remains focused on continuing to bring people together to build on this progress and get a lot more stuff done for Pennsylvanians. Having shown up in communities all across the Commonwealth hundreds of times in these first two years, the Governor has listened to Pennsylvanians’ priorities and pledged to keep showing up, solving problems, and delivering results.
