MDP Statement on the Verdict in the Rachel Morin Trial

Following the conviction of the perpetrator in the murder of Maryland mother Rachel Morin, Maryland Democratic Party Deputy Executive Director Joe Francaviglia released the below statement:

“The senseless murder of Rachel Morin was heartbreaking for all Marylanders. We are grateful to law enforcement and everyone involved bringing this perpetrator to justice and their efforts to provide some form of closure to the family.

Thank you also to the Harford County State’s Attorney’s office, the courthouse staff, and the Marylanders who fulfilled their civic duty and participated in jury service.

While we await final sentencing, the thoughts and prayers of the Maryland Democratic Party remain with all of those impacted by this terrible murder.”
