MDP Statement on the Dobbs Anniversary

June 24, 2025

Helena, MT - The Montana Democratic Party released the following statement on the third anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, which ended women’s constitutional right to abortion and reproductive freedom:

“Three years ago today, Donald Trump’s handpicked Supreme Court Justices overturned decades of legal precedent and ripped away women’s reproductive freedom. The attacks on women and their reproductive rights continue today, as Trump and his Republican lackeys zero in on defunding healthcare clinics across the country and making abortion and basic reproductive health care more expensive and inaccessible,” said Montana Democratic Party Board Chair Robyn Driscoll. “Make no mistake: Montana’s all-Republican congressional delegation is fighting tooth and nail to continue imposing their dangerous, extremist agenda on women in Montana and across the country.  Montana Democrats will continue to fight like hell against any Republican attack on women’s reproductive rights and freedoms.”
