ICYMI: Hands Off Roundup - Michigan Rejects Trump and Republicans’ Disastrous Agenda

April 7, 2025

This Saturday, Michiganders rallied in the thousands in Marquette, Lansing, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and more to show their outrage at Trump’s reckless 77 days as President

LANSING — In case you missed it, this weekend, tens of thousands of Michiganders rallied across the state to take part in Hands Off protests to show their frustration and anger at Trump’s gutting of Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and more. From Marquette to Detroit to Grand Rapids, Michiganders were out in full force demonstrating to Trump, Elon, and all Republicans that they will not allow them to take away these critical programs without a fight.

This is not a partisan issue, this is about Michiganders standing up to billionaires who are trying to dismantle our very democracy and are tanking our economy in the process. They’re trying to reshape this country to ensure that it only works for the 1%, leaving everyone else to pay the price.

It’s outrageous, and Michiganders aren’t having it. Take a look below at Michiganders across the state standing up and saying enough is enough:
