Icymi: Former Rep. Murphy Slams Connecticut Mccormick On Fox News

PENNSYLVANIA – In a Fox News appearance, former Pennsylvania Congressman Patrick J. Murphy called out hedge fund CEO and mega-millionaire David McCormick for living in Connecticut and his many gaffes, including mispronouncing an iconic Pennsylvania beer,  Yuengling.

• Murphy: “Yeah, and [Pennsylvania senate race] is going to be nip and tuck. You have Bob Casey out there, who’s been our senator, versus Dave McCormick, who until recently, lived in Connecticut.”

• Murphy: “[McCormick] called a Wawa drink a ‘big gulp’ which is a 7/11. He called Yuengling ‘Yangling.’ He’s been gone for a couple decades.”
