MADISON, Wis. — This weekend, State Representatives Francesca Hong, Tip McGuire, Mike Bare, and Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer kicked off their statewide “Flippin’ Tour” to energize voters and drive them to the polls in the week leading up to Election Day.
The Flippin’ Bus Tour will make its way across the state this week, stopping in every Assembly Starting Lineup District to knock doors and support Democrats running for the Assembly. The Flippin’ Tour will keep the momentum going strong for Democrats as Wisconsinites head to the polls between now and November 5th.
Check out some highlights from the first three days of the Flippin’ Tour:
On Saturday, the Flippin’ Tour began with a stop in Mount Horeb visiting with volunteers to knock doors for Elizabth Grabe in Assembly District 51.
Later in the day, the group kept the momentum going with a stop in Baraboo with volunteers for Karen DeSanto in Assembly District 40. They swapped a few friendship bracelets and hit the doors to support Karen as she fights for the 40th District
Next up, the Flippin’ Tour landed in La Crosse to support “Mr. Bipartisan,” Rep. Steve Doyle in Assembly District 94. Reps. Neubauer, Bare, McGuire, and Hong hit the doors to talk to voters about how Rep. Doyle is working to lower costs for families and reach across the aisle to deliver results for western Wisconsin.
On Sunday, the group headed to La Crosse to join Alison Page, candidate for Assembly District 30 and a group of volunteers to hit the doors for Democrats and down the ballot.
Day 3 of the Flippin’ Tour kicked off in Eau Claire with Rep. Jodi Emerson and Christian Phelps, running in Assembly Districts 91 and 93 to talk to voters about how Jodi and Christian are fighting for the Chippewa Valley.
The Flippin’ Tour wrapped Day 3 in Chippewa Falls with Joe Plouff in Assembly District 92. Joe is a veteran and former State Representative who has been called to service his entire life, and is putting in long hours to win the 92nd next week.
