The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker that all person or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor of:

Illinois State Police Trooper Corey S. Thompsen, 28, who tragically died in the line of duty on October 18, 2024.Trooper Thompsen joined the Illinois State Police on October 17, 2019, in Cadet Class 130, was assigned badge number 7081, and served for almost 5 years. Trooper Thompsen will be remembered for his unparalleled dedication to his city and community.

Please lower the United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency's personnel from:

Sunrise Wednesday, October 23, 2024 until Sunset Sunday, October 27, 2024
