ANNAPOLIS, MD - On December 14, 2024, Governor Wes Moore and First Lady Dawn Moore hosted a public open house to celebrate the holiday season. The event was held at Government House in Annapolis, where guests enjoyed festive decorations, food, and music provided by local schools and organizations.

“Dawn and I had a wonderful time with Marylanders as we welcomed them into the People’s House,” said Gov. Moore. “This is a special time of year to celebrate, with joy and gratitude, our partnership with the people of our great state.”

“The Governor and I were so excited to open the doors of the People’s House today,” said First Lady Dawn Moore. “This Open House represents the best of the holidays and is truly one of the most important events of the season, as I am committed to making sure that every Marylander has the opportunity to visit the home and see themselves represented in it.”

Among the musical performances were three groups: the Roland Park Country Day School Semiquavers, the Annapolis Symphony Academy, and the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Choir.
