Governor Polis Statement on Passing of Former Commissioner of Agriculture John Stulp

DENVER - On July 10, 2025, Governor Polis remembers the life of John Stulp who served as the Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture from 2006 to 2010 and water advisor to Governor John Hickenlooper from 2010 to 2018.

“Colorado mourns the loss of John Stulp, a dedicated public servant, who led our agricultural community with confidence and compassion. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know John and witness his work to support our farmers and ranchers, preserve our natural resources, and create a more prosperous and healthy Colorado for generations to come. John will be dearly missed, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends during this time. He was a great public servant," said Governor Polis.
