DPG Statement on President Biden’s Address to the Nation

July 24, 2024

Following President Biden’s address from the Oval Office tonight, DPG Chair Congresswoman Nikema Williams released the following statement:

“President Biden has been and continues to be the true embodiment of public service. It is thanks to his leadership that over the past three and a half years, we have added more than 30,000 jobs here in Georgia, reached record-low unemployment, capped the cost of insulin for seniors, ushered in record Affordable Care Act enrollment, lowered inflation, made generational investments in fighting climate change, rebuilt our roads and bridges, and so much more to improve the lives of working families. Georgians are deeply grateful for his transformational leadership and proud to work alongside him to elect Vice President Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States.”
