DPG Congratulates Leader Carolyn Hugley, House Democratic Caucus Leadership

Following leadership elections for the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, DPG Chair Congresswoman Nikema Williams released the following statement:

“On behalf of the Democratic Party of Georgia, I want to congratulate Representative Carolyn Hugley on her election as Georgia House Democratic Caucus Leader. Rep. Hugley has been serving Georgians with integrity in the State House for decades, and we know she will continue to move our state forward as Leader. Georgia Democrats also extend our congratulations to Representatives Tanya Miller, Sam Park, Spencer Frye, Saira Draper, Park Cannon, and Solomon Adesanya on their leadership roles. We know that with these leaders at the helm, the House Democratic Caucus will continue to grow its numbers and fight for Medicaid expansion, reproductive freedom, an economy that puts working families first, and a state where every Georgian can thrive.”
