Donald Trump Doubles Down on Project 2025 During Debate

September 10, 2024

Harris communicates a vision that moves Arizona forward, while Donald Trump focuses on abortion extremism and election denialism

ARIZONA - During Sep 10th’s presidential debate, Donald Trump doubled down on Project 2025’s agenda of threatening Arizonans’ rights and freedoms, hurting the middle class, and raising costs for families. In stark contrast, Harris emphasized a message of freedom that would move Arizona forward by protecting abortion rights, funding public education, and cracking down on corporate greed to lower costs for working-class families.

“Tonight’s debate showcased that rather than fighting for Arizonans, Donald Trump is focused on giving himself unchecked power, banning abortion nationwide, and pleasing his billionaire friends,” said Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano. “Kamala Harris is ready on day one to expand Arizonans’ freedoms by protecting abortion access, increasing economic opportunity, and ensuring that every child will receive a quality education. This November, Arizonans will reject Donald Trump’s extremism because they know that Kamala Harris will move our state forward.”
