ST PAUL – Minnesota DFL Chair Ken Martin released the following statement celebrating the DFL victory for the Harris-Walz ticket in Minnesota, as well as landslide DFL victories for in the U.S. Senate Race and in the Second and Third Congressional Districts.
DFL Chair Ken Martin: “I am proud that we were able to deliver Minnesota for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and that Minnesota will continue to be represented by Senator Amy Klobuchar and Representative Angie Craig. Minnesota is also gaining an extraordinary advocate in Representative-elect Kelly Morrison. No matter who holds the White House or Congress, the DFL congressional delegation will be a bulwark for our party’s creed that “we all do better when we all do better.”
“While the outcome in the state House is still unclear, retaining the majority in the state Senate will allow us to defend the historic victories that DFL leaders delivered for working families. From paid family leave to free school meals, our party will continue to defend and build on the work we have done to improve people’s lives.”
