David Mccormick: “[Pennsylvania] Is A Place Where Bob Casey And His Family Have Lived Forever”

Meanwhile, McCormick Is Lying About Living in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — Connecticut hedge fund CEO and mega-millionaire David McCormick is admitting that parachuting into Pennsylvania from his multi-million dollar mansion on Connecticut’s gold coast to run for Senate is hurting his campaign.

What McCormick is Saying:

CBS News:

  • McCormick: “[Pennsylvania] is a place where Bob Casey and his family have lived forever.”

Volpe Report:

  • McCormick: “I did run a firm, in my 40s and early 50s in Pennsylvania – in Connecticut, rather, a big investment firm…and in 2022, I moved back to Pittsburgh…to run for office.”

Community Microphone:

  • McCormick: “Some of the ads are saying I’m not a real Pennsylvanian and the reason they’re saying that is because I lived outside of Pennsylvania for 12 years and ran a big investment firm, and then moved back in 2022 to run for the Senate.”

What They’re Saying:

Former Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin:

  • “He’s come back to Pennsylvania now to hopefully serve as our U.S. Senator.”
