Blake Moore Won’t Make The Change CD1 Needs

Salt Lake City - Utah Democratic Party Vice-Chair Oscar Mata released the following statement on October 8, 2024:

“On Oct 8th night, Congressman Blake Moore tried to dodge accountability for his failure to deliver for Utahns. From voting against providing critical medical help to veterans to failing to address Utah’s high cost of living, Blake Moore has abandoned his constituents. Right out the gate, he rambled about debate rules. Rather than propose real solutions, Moore railed against President Biden’s agenda. He tried to defend his double-dealing on immigration, when the truth is Congressional Republicans blocked a bipartisan immigration reform bill because Donald Trump told them to. 

Meanwhile, Bill Campbell showed himself to be a voice for Utahns over special interests. His priority is you. I call on residents of Congressional District One to vote for Bill Campbell and other Democrats all the way down the ballot, so they can get the representation they deserve.”
