PROVIDENCE, RI — Acknowledging?the importance of consistent attendance?in education?and?in alignment with the #AttendanceMattersRI campaign, Governor Dan?McKee?and?Commissioner?Angélica?Infante-Green?are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle,?and?high?schools?with the greatest average?weekly attendance.
The following?schools?are Rhode Island’s attendance?leaders?for the week of December 2, 2024*:
- Elementary:?The Compass School – 97.3%
- Middle: Barrington Middle School – 95.9%
- High School: Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts (TAPA)** – 97%
The?Governor?and?Commissioner?express their gratitude?and?encouragement to all?schools?in Rhode Island for their ongoing efforts to prioritize attendance?and reinforce the value of consistent learning experiences for all students.
Schools with the most improved average attendance rates were not included this week due to the Thanksgiving week break.
